Work with several organizations
Create more organizations, join someone else's, and switch between them from one account.
One Bookmaker account can belong to several organizations: separate businesses you run, clients you do the books for, or a company you were invited to. Each organization keeps its own documents, customers, numbering, settings and team, and nothing is shared between them.
Create another organization#
- Open the account menu at the top right and choose Create organization.
- Enter the Organization name, Country and Base currency.
- Create it. You become its owner and move into it straight away.
The Country decides what your tax and registration numbers are called on documents, and can be changed later in Settings › Organization. The Base currency is the currency new customers and documents start in.
You can create up to three organizations an hour.
Join someone else's organization#
When someone invites you, open the invitation while signed in and choose Join. Invite your team describes what the invitation shows.
Switch between organizations#
Once you belong to more than one, the account menu lists them under Organizations. Choose one and Bookmaker opens its dashboard. Your role can differ in each: an owner in your own business can be a viewer in a client's.
